This sweet, sexy and quick read was funny and emotional all at the same time. I loved the twist in the re-meeting of the MMC Adrian (Father of Sophia) and Sophia's best friend, Grace! I kinda felt like someone shoulda sat Adrian down before and told him to grown up, he had a bit of Peter Pan Syndrome to me...but, he adored his daughter fiercely. Grace, for her part, is the monetary opposite of Adrian and Sophia, but like Sophia has a sweet nature and a giving heart. The big drama of the story builds slowly, but, THIS IS NO *SLOW BURN* and between the fantastic story and spice, this is a fantastic read! Congratulations Author Amelia Perry!

The third installment of the Sky Security series starts off in a grocery store and takes you on a dynamic ride from there. The MMC Earl is a member of the exclusive security group (I’d hate to see what they would charge!) who falls fast and hard for our FMC Lily, a young woman on the run. I felt like there was an action.slow, then explosive pace to the book…but, it’s perfectly rational once you know what is going on. This is an emotional, edge of seat action packed, SPICE, (hot dang) age gap, dirty talking book you REALLY need to read! This can be read as a standalone, but, is part of a series!

(Spoiler free zone, if you want that, read THE BOOK :) ) OH.I.AM.SO.HERE.FOR.THIS. I mean, seriously, the second chance, the new try, her family...the HEA. Did I mention the *SPICE* ? Because, holy s*hit, the SPICE. And I love them...the family, the built family and the twist. The twist, damn....I saw the bad after a few, but, NEVER EXPECTED that ending. I've never read the author, Bella Matthews, or the series, Defiant Kings...but that's all going to change. This can be a standalone, however, I love the interconnected stories and love the series. Get this now. Seriously, Go...get it..... WHY ARE YOU STILL LOOKING AT THIS? Congratulations, Bella Matthews

I adored the characters, world building, the stories impressively crafted in the main overall novel. The spice is decadent, twisted…I was LOST in this book, the puzzle of how Clover interacts with everyone, how the physical and mental game Sarah lead the different factions on was amazing. Did I mention how HOT and next level the spice was in this? However your style of getting happy is, this is the book to trigger that off. Some of the things that Morgan is in to are a bit beyond my interest, but, no shame. There are twists and turns RIGHT TO THE END. Do yourself a favor, start with Broken Beauty, YOU must read that first, the delve into Loyal Vows. Story 5/5 Spice 6/5 Must READ

Risky Game Stacey Lynn

The new to me and wonderful author, Stacey Lynn, crafted a fantastic football romance in Risky Game. The story follows Logan, a brand new head coach for the Nashville Steel, parent to the insanely adorable Amelia (age 4) and Ruby, his players’ younger sister and sudden Nanny. Ruby was sweet without being naive, I love that about her! Logan is a older, settled man that has two priorities, Amelia and proving his spot at work with both management and fans. The story is balanced between the characters interactions (and growth), the footballing (sum total of his job). There’s a fantastic world set of the people and place connections and you can see the parties or whatever is going on as if you were there. I love Author Stacey Lynn’s writing style, even the spice was hot and perfect to the story. Risky Game is book 4 of the Nashville Steel series, however can be read as a standalone, like I did…I’ll be going back to read the first 3 to get the complete picture. Story 5/5 Spice 5/5

...She did it again to this non-sports loving gal! I kinda want to become a baseball fan if all ballplayers are like Reid! (I have a new book boyfriend!) (No spoilers) With the dynamic relationship, evolving from friendship as young children to young adults and before a twist, returned as adults...with complications. I fell in love with Reid and Brealynn, the dynamic, the shared affections but the differences in personalities and backgrounds kept me tied to the kindle in my hands. There were moments were I felt like throttling both of our dynamic duo, but I love the sense of riding the path right with them. The spice, slow burn to explosive was amazing, but, I'm all in for the story of Reid and Brealynn and the stories surrounding them.

Deal with the Devil Astoria Royals #4 Deborah Garland

This mafia dark romance is sublime. I love the interactions, especially the (MMC) Lachlan’s love at first sight/ he falls first view of Katya…in one of the most stunning, movie-imaginative scenes I’ve read in a while. The writing style is smooth, interesting and lush. Bravo on that one! I loved the ability the mains had to intuitively understand each other, in and outside the bedroom. Lachlan and Katya have this beautifully immersive relationship, and the effects of both story and other people drove this wonderful, shouldn’t miss mafia dark romance!

Odd Man Rush : FFM 2nd book in the East Cast Series Kristen Granata (Author Agency)

Kristen Granata's Odd Man Rush was fantastic. The dynamics between the main characters since they were teenagers was a treat Ms. Granata moved them fluidly through the years without loosing the core base of the characters, but allowing them to still change and grow. I loved the choices presented, the way the decisions moved the story and kept me glued to the book. The spice is fantastic, the HEA was brilliantly crafted. She did show some of the struggles for the LGBTQ+ community. I don't do spoilers, but I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND this, don't miss out on this unique hockey romance.

The Ice Kiss L.Steele

I loved the interaction between Rick, the new team captain and Giogina (Gio), the new team publicist. Both of them have to prove themselves to the origination. the spice was delicious and the witty story kept me fascinated. Gio is a riot with her take no bull attitude and has a very dynamic background. One of my favorite quotes of the book was Gio claiming that Rick has “CRDF, Chronic Resting Di$# Face” There’s a twist that make you gasp and have to read it again. Spice 5 Story 5 Must Read

Nanny for my Secret Billionaire by Gracie Sage 🌶🌶🌶🌶 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is a great read if you want the right balance of the genres and story. I found the characters right on, however, wish more thoroughly physicality described at the start of the story. The spice was sweeter than hardcore, 4/5. When I first registered to take this ARC, I had no idea how much I would love where this would go Emma and her college best friend, Jessie have plans, vert specific plans, not expecting Liam and Dom to make the well laid plans become a memory.I don’t do spoilers and there is too much of what is the story wrapped up in the Prism Society, I did love the flow of the book, the characters and everything about this. Shattered Secrets will delight you, break you and twist you before it drops you breathless, back into reality. I couldn’t put this down, you felt Hadleigh’s fight for her love with Hudson, even after all hell breaks loose. I want to have her kick arse spirt and ability. She’s fierce but gracious and loving. I REALLY don’t like spoilers, but I found Hudson’s foster brother, Brooks to be creepy. Just from the beginning. Where Hadleigh and Holden’s story goes was amazing. I never saw it coming and couldn’t delight in the turns it took more. This is a must read Spice 5/5 Story 5/5 (This is out wayyyy late because of the Great Ouch, I am so sorry)

The first installment of the Shadow Drawn Series is not to be missed. This friends to lovers, good vs evil, fantasy novel is in a class of its' own. This book leads you on a twisted and turning, secret packed exploration of Cora's fated engagement the Demon Alpha Finn, even though her heart belongs with the Alpha's Draw, Amyrn. This has Angels, demons, a ass kicking FMC (seriously, if you need that stare in the mirror confidence boost, channel her),located mainly on Earth, it's unique, and the cliffhanger ending was AMAZING. THIS IS A DO NOT MISS. Over 21 only, did I mention HIGH SPICE, ACTION, and QUALITY SMUT with an ACTUAL STORY. Brava, R.D. Baker by the by, check out her TikTok channel, she's hysterical.

Ben and Eve have a delightful, distracting and somewhat dangerous road to a HEA . No Spoilers . The wit, creativity and humor Buckingham Young folds in with Ben and Eve is simply perfect. I ADORED the “unveiling” of the murderer at the Broadway show Eve was in. There are one liners I adore out of the many witty and devilish things Ben and Eve say to/about each other. The heat is a slow build explosion. Damn. This can be certainly read as a stand alone or as the 2nd book in the series. Read this one… Congratulations, EA Buckingham Young! Challenged Magic - Haven Price

Congratulations to Haven Price on a brilliant installment of the Vivian Foxworthy series. Honestly, I think I liked the second book better than the first. Vivian's character has grown and the book seemed fuller and richer than the first, and I loved the first. Set in the same world, Vivian and Quin are trying to change their future, but the various players are still causing havoc. Vivian still has the Tree duty and the supernatural hierarchy are still acting like sugar high toddlers. As I do not do spoilers, I will say that this book was funny, some character appearances were unexpected and I adore the clever banter between characters. Author Price's world is rich, the detail is complete (without being overdone), there are no perfect characters-i.e.: no Blue Fairy here. I'm always waiting to see what Vivian and her motley (and dynamic) crew do next. I'm really hoping for a book three. Five Stars, Stories Five Star, Spice

Daniel(Mr I cover my hands off/inner grumpy) security specialist and Maya,a dynamic, sex positive, spunky and snarky 911 operator that writes letters to prisoners, meet when Maya begins receiving letters that go too far. Maya's bestie's boyfriend is the partner of Daniel, who is at first dragged into moving Maya because she has been receiving terrifying stalker letters. Things escalate and they are forced together (becoming a forced proximity) yet, can they figure out what is actually happening before it goes horribly wrong? With the perfect blend of some really nice spice, grumpy and sunshine, forced proximity in a small town romance where he falls first will they both make it out of this together or kill each other? I really enjoyed the verbal sparring between Daniel and Maya, his family is insane,(so are their friends) but delightfully hysterical. Overall, I loved the flow of the book, it is a easy to read standalone, however, I felt like I needed a bit more explanation on the links between characters as we went in or maybe a list, because I had not read the other books. (I am not removing from my review from that as it's on me ;) ) I would highly recommend this, I found it to be a fantastic ride, the spice was great and the story was fantastic. Congratulations, M.R. Becker, a beautifully done!

I need to say that I’ve become a big fan of the series….but I adored this installment! 

For me, it was almost a dynamic reinterpretation of Beaty and the Beast, at least as far as they start off seeing each other. (Not in the physical sense, they are hot as so attracted to each other!) 

There was a trigger warning for me, (so, check fours;) ) 

It wasn’t a smooth sailing relationship and I love the connections, the way the relationship had its highs and lows.

This book is adorable, funny and with that perfect Rom-Com element, it was a great light read. It reminded me a bit shadow ofJane Austen-Pride and Prejudice, yet, followed the tropes for a fun story. 

I usually read/ARC books with a much higher spice level, but, this is a very slow steam.2/5 The story is about a 4.5 

There was wonderful character and world building, I LOVED the •ancillary* characters more sometimes than the MC. For me, this was a wonderful treat!

 I’m still dipping toes into the hockey romance realm, and I am so glad for the recommendation to read this one. 

I loved Ms. Moore’s characters and the surprising introductions along the way. 

There’s a perfect  blend of drama, love, redemption and SPICE, that makes it so very worth the read.

 One PUCKED Up Pack gives you that thrilling hockey game feel with a wide range of emotional highs and lows, as four different personalities navigate a dynamic life with the pull towards pack life, and each other.

This isn’t a “Oh there’s our sweet omega story” (hallma$rk movie style) where past…whatever is easily dealt with. This goes deeper, and tosses in current events into the characters lives. Sweet and easy resolutions need not apply.

I loved the characters, both 2 and one four legged, I felt the characters as they moved through the beautifully written world Author Sarah Blue put them into. (Kathy reminded me so much of my Mom).

I was blown away from start to finish with this…everything.

I couldn’t put it down. The spice is hot 🥵 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ but does not overpower the plot or progression of the book. 

One of my many favorite scenes between Chase and Juliet was the “Listen and breathe” lesson. 

When you read the book, you will understand everything I love about this book….including the spice after that scene.

 ….but, timing was WAY off for me. Sometimes, it was as if a day had passed, other times a day had passed but things were several months later from the way they spoke/reacted etc. 

I think it had some problems…but again, was that time passing?

I thought it was cute

(I had a REALLY hard time ranking this a 4. What therapist seriously does not take their kid for treatment long before the kid goes mute? Who takes a kid that’s just been hit by a car, in intensive care (where 1blood transfusion saved her life?) to the AMUSEMENT PARK a few days later? The characters had very little depth, how the hell did her brother steal MR HEA’s letters from his sister when they were both in the military, ended up in different places?) IDK, too many WTF for m

Ruthless Crown Amanda Richardson

 A interesting start to a series, I can’t wait to get my hands on the next. The SPICE level is VERY HIGH and the story is very fast paced, there are some characters that left me a bit..off with the positioning in the story. That’s probably just me. I do recommend this for a high spice story.

Undeniable C.R. Riley This last installment in the Kohl Family series was a wild ride around the world, high spice level, intrigue and the twists you expect from the Kohl Family and Riley’s world building. Alina Prescott and Patrick Kohl have a dynamic and unbelievably passionate relationship and the sheer thrill of riding the roller coaster from page one kept me breathless. Breathless and delighted, I actually laughed and cried waiting to see if they would receive a well deserved happily ever after. The Kohl Family series can be read alone, however, I STRONGLY suggest you start with Untouchable. C.R. Riley created a beautiful world and family with the Kohl Family, the series is a must read, especially UNDENIABLE.

 Quick, sweet and so.Oh.my.wooly.barracuda 🥵 I’m immediately starting book 1

This is a quick, hot read that is NSFP (Not Safe for Public) Do NOT be running, walking, sitting or anywhere where someone can see you make a spectacle of yourself when you trip over your feet, walk into a door, make that little noise that you think that no one else heard. 

I should almost mark that as a spoiler. 

Damn.

Puckin Around Emily Rath

(This book is definitely over 18. From Seattle to Canada, this book was recommended to me by a fellow booktok fan. I’m recommending that you read the short and SUPER 🥵 novella first.) 

With that said, Emily Rath introduced me to both hockey and alternative relationships. This book is fast burn that I don’t think I can ever forget, because 🥵 🥵 it is so amazing.

However, it goes far beyond the heat and builds deep characters with relationships, that in reality, affect the Main Characters. 

I am being so careful to not give much away…and I’d love to sit here and have the book read to us with the right voices.

I must have looked INSANE because my husband could see from my expressions if the team was playing or if he was going to be very thankful to the author😅

In all, I love this series, and I have a new author to follow (because this is some beautiful brain work!)

 Distraction is the book where you kinda wonder for a moment if you aren’t Belle (Cora) in her small provincial (Colorado mountain) town…and you even get to met ..well, Cade is not Gaston. 

He is however, the town’s playboy and Cora is there to work on her thesis. 

I don’t do spoilers but it is a so much more than a summer fling, you’ll love finding out about the bar game…it was that snorting kind of laugh (I never do that) 

Enjoy Cora and Cade, the town of Katah Vista and I’m sure you’ll be grabbing the next book to get back again!

Beautiful Lies Paula Dombrowiak

 I was so ******* floored by this book that I did a tic Toc telling her so (Kate_reads_everything). 

THIS IS A MUST READ

I finished this book early this morning and was a joyous wreck the rest of the day mulling it over. Paula takes you into the mind and story of two people who have that instant eyesight connection, but, she can find so many reasons why this reverse relationship should not happen.  I found the characters great, I loved the depth she went into building each of the characters to make them seem like people you care about.  I felt like I was watching this play out, I was not in my living room, dr’s office or reading when I should be sleeping. It’s just that damn good.  I never saw the twist coming. Nope.

Baby Bumpers

 Oh wow!This book was adorable and steamy, best friends to lovers, again and and again until it stopped. I am NOT going to give away spoilers, but think, small town, single parent AND check trigger warnings. 

I loved the characters in this book, including the “villain” but, was expecting others to show up. (Once you read it you’ll know what I mean). I was also never quite clear what her position at the job was, did she go for an Associates or Bacelors degree, I could have been me. (This is a insane thing to notice)

I did love the relationship between between the two MC. 

The book did discuss preconceived notions that are instantaneous, the fear of judgement and the actions of family, in this situation or not.  

I loved this book, read it overnight and just love it! BRAVA, Ms.Riley, I think this this one is a sweet one.
