Prey Tell Amanda Richardson

 This has to be one of my top 10 reviewed books ever.

I was blown away from start to finish with this…everything. 

The story- Astounding 

The world-Astounding 

The characters-Astounding 

I couldn’t put it down. The spice is hot 🥵 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ but does not overpower the plot or progression of the book. 

One of my many favorite scenes between Chase and Juliet was the “Listen and breathe” lesson. 

When you read the book, you will understand everything I love about this book….including the spice after that scene. 

Congratulations Amanda Richardson.

 ….but, timing was WAY off for me. Sometimes, it was as if a day had passed, other times a day had passed but things were several months later from the way they spoke/reacted etc. 

I think it had some problems…but again, was that time passing?

I thought it was cute

(I had a REALLY hard time ranking this a 4. What therapist seriously does not take their kid for treatment long before the kid goes mute? Who takes a kid that’s just been hit by a car, in intensive care (where 1blood transfusion saved her life?) to the AMUSEMENT PARK a few days later? The characters had very little depth, how the hell did her brother steal MR HEA’s letters from his sister when they were both in the military, ended up in different places?) IDK, too many WTF for m

Ruthless Crown Amanda Richardson

 A interesting start to a series, I can’t wait to get my hands on the next. The SPICE level is VERY HIGH and the story is very fast paced, there are some characters that left me a bit..off with the positioning in the story. That’s probably just me. I do recommend this for a high spice story.

I felt that her friends and mother/stepfather where so ancillary to the story it was kinda strange for me.

Undeniable C.R. Riley This last installment in the Kohl Family series was a wild ride around the world, high spice level, intrigue and the twists you expect from the Kohl Family and Riley’s world building. Alina Prescott and Patrick Kohl have a dynamic and unbelievably passionate relationship and the sheer thrill of riding the roller coaster from page one kept me breathless. Breathless and delighted, I actually laughed and cried waiting to see if they would receive a well deserved happily ever after. The Kohl Family series can be read alone, however, I STRONGLY suggest you start with Untouchable. C.R. Riley created a beautiful world and family with the Kohl Family, the series is a must read, especially UNDENIABLE.

Leah Toole’s The Saddest Princess

 Imaginative and stunning, well researched novel that lets you live the life of Queen Mary the First as that invisible observer that it should. Historical fiction is not meant to be a textbook, Leah Toole does an ASTONISHING job weaving the historic fact and the fiction you want to slide into to escape your reality and into a very different time. 

Queen Mary’s life was shaped by her experiences and influences, and the different shifts and tides in religion with Henry’s court. Her mother left her with staunch, deep Catholicism of her family, her father made her a both a pawn for England and his mercurial emotions.

This never deviated for Mary’s life, long after her parents were gone, her life was still was ruled but advisors, fate and religion. 

History readers and the history curious, grab a copy and see the full ,robust story of the children and reign of Henry the 8. 

Tudor fans, this should be on your NOW READING, get a treat and your imagination whisk you in Leah Toole’s immersive and richly developed world of Queen Mary the First

 A.L. Maruga releases Corrupted Kingdom, one of the most jaw dropping reverse harem, dark romance books I have ever had the disturbing pleasure of reading. From Casbury Prep to hell and back, she wove a tale of revenge, twisted romance, smut (oh that poor kitchen table) and haunting tragedy into one of the books you will think about again and again for weeks. 

I STRONGLY recommend that you READ Casbury Prep as a series. 

This is DARK- *Check your trigger warnings*

This has some SEVERELY DISTURBED moments-Bring your blanket

This book is SMUTTY-You may want a “friend” (Readers Choice on what I mean)

Pucking Ever Vol 1 Emily Rath

 I love the Prices! I’m probably an Imari girl

If forced to choose, but if Rachel doesn’t have to, why should we?

I love the look at the little glimpses of life for the Price family and the background peek at something’s alluded to…but not written before. 

Huh, I wonder what kind of ice cream would be chosen for me? 

And as ever with the Prices’, Ms Rath hits that perfect balance of story, character and HOT 🥵 PUCKIN SPICE
