Enticing Bella Matthews
Hooray! We finally got Leo Sinclair's story and wow, what a story!
I have always loved the little cameo appearances he's done walking through the Kroydon Hill family stories. He's usually the loveable goofball or the buddy you want when things are going sideways.
However, I adore the change Leo made in himself, seemingly, although I just don't think he let it show. In a family as loud and over the top as his, with the extended assortment of aquired family...it was a simple role with his natural spirit and nature to take on. Until Bella and her daughters.
I'm leaving it there, buy the book (or KU it). I will say that the story takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, the spice is unreal and you are doing yourself a disfavor to miss it.
5/5 story
5/5 spice
Must read
Princes of Sin 3 Paula Dombrowsiak
I’m blown away! The book is amazing, the series spinoff took in such an amazing new direction but keeping the distinctive feel for The Princes of Sin! The narrations are *perfect*, I mean really perfect. It was like someone reached into my imagination and pulled Shane East and Evelyn Rose to weave the perfect, spice laden and action packed book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
silent night cr riley
Let's just jump right into it.
Flawless. this is flawless and original.
This is a Christmas story adjacent, it happens at Christmas, but is not about Christmas.
I couldn't believe the amazing creativity behind Riley's Silent Night. I've never read any of her MMC that could be truly consider morally grey, but, Liam is the definition of morally grey. And delicious.
He needs Josie, our FMC, as much as she needs him when all heck comes down on her life...and....
The spice is amazing, the story is brilliant and it is a definitive don't miss
5/5 Story
5/5 Spice (adults only, thanks)

Traci Sek Get What's Mine
I loved the sexy start to this sweet and emotional story following Tyler and Natalie.
Natalie, a burlesque dancer and waitress (a girl's got to make a living..especially with demands at home). Tyler's a ad rep for a marketing company, he drops a train wreck relationship the same day that he attends a bachelor party, meeting the burlesque working Natalie...a little hootch and some after work party...
With Tyler's pursuit of Natalie (he's a cinnamon roll that recognises something special in her), while she keeps secrets, the ones she's grown up with and potentially a larger one, they have a long work to get to the HEA they both deserve...
I loved the complexity of both characters, the details and beauty of the story will leave you needing to some chuckles or grab a few tissues.
big heat to slow burn, amazing character development and a wonderful story this, is such a cannot miss!
3 peppers FIVE STARS AMAZING STORY.....

Queen of Ruin Paula Dombrowsiak
Many of the things I feel would get me in trouble with the algorithym police.
Ducking Stupendous. Staggered. Darren and Evangelista move forward together in this installment of the Kingmaker trilogy (book 2), and change hits both of them. Hard.
The story picks up at the devastating end of book 1 and you are waltzed thru the high society of D.C. that Eva faces, while Darren prepares to finally do some adulting!
I love how we see the evolution between them and the spice (always delicious!) and Eva's movements as she tries to learn while protecting Darren and arguably the most difficult choice she ever has to make.
This kept me on the edge, I could not read it fast enough and am craving the third installment next month.
You need to start with one, this CANNOT BE READ SEPARATELY.
Don't miss this this.

Catchers Interference CR Riley
Oh, holy book 5!
Ash is amazing, I think I want to be her when I grow up, mostly. She's got family drama, I could pass on that. Flint, well, our catcher is looking at retirement in a few years and trying to things out with his life...he makes one heck of a book boyfriend.
The everything about this book was wonderful. The correct balance of fantastic characters, drama, the plot is fantastic and the saucy times are spicy!
I don't want to give details, but, Flint is my favorite Matthews! I love how they move together to help each other become who they should. Ash needs a push beyond her immediate issues and things that she's ignoring and denying even to herself.
Together, they create a beautiful HEA.
Congratulations, @crriley

cruel lies -Lilian harris
Open the book or press play,
Read the first few chapters...
fall.
This book is sad, infuriated me on behalf of the fmc...until you learn so much more as this book advances.
When the right couple is stuck in the wrong time, and the wrong roles for years until things suddenly get interesting...and twisted. I mean, this is a dark mafia book, check your trigger warnings, every placement of the use of the warnings is perfect.
The TWIST killed me. by then, I'd fallen far too in love with them as a couple.
Brilliant, spice is astounding and in the amazing Lilian Harris style, you just don't want this book to end.
*The audio addition was astounding, Troy Duran and Brooke Daniels gave perfect verbal life to the characters. It was perfect*
Ruthless Savage Lilian Harris
One of Harris’ brightest starts to a new series. We briefly met Eriu Quinn and Devlin McHale in the Messina Crime Family books, and I wanted their story so very badly.
Devlin Has wanted Eriu forever, but had cast his feelings aside due to his incarceration,(She kept writing and trying to visit him), he works for her Dad (She thinks Dad would be thrilled) and she's the seemingly protective Princess from the family's dirty underside.
The journey these two take as they work together to ride the twists and turns Author Harris is known for so cleverly adding to her books, Eriu had some serious maturing to do and yet they love each other so dearly. He had a lot of his own drama to get over and then deal together with life....and her family.
I LOVE this book, you will too.

The Haunted Queen Leah Toole
Leah Toole amazes with her study on the life of Queen Elizabeth, the actual woman, as opposed to the crafted image of Virgin Queen.
Toole makes Elizabeth into a real person, showing the attitudes, thoughts and reactions that not only shaped her life, but the effect she left on the world itself.
Contrary to all that Elizabeth wanted and tried to clear her mothers name from the Great Whore, Elizabeth also wanted her life and Reign to be see as her own, beautifully achieved here.
I love the way Toole makes the flow of Elizabeth's life (without being overwhelming, her birth to age 18 could be a book of its own.) with the necessary views behind the curtains of Privy Councils',the reigns of her siblings and the way she fell in and out of favor within each court before she took the Throne as her own.
I've personally always held the belief that the Virgin Queen was as insane as a title (aside from her proclamation of WHY Elizabeth took the moniker as she married her country) as she loved her sweet Robin Dudley from childhood.I will not reveal if Author Leah Toole stood with the traditional or the love story. (I'm a sap) Read it to discover this major part of Queen Lizzie's life.
She shows the Queen as real, a person that faced the hideous smallpox, the changes in her behaviors ("Hello there, Henry") and the struggles and joys of her running a country...as a single, female ruler.
Before you say anything, please remember that this is a work of HISTORICAL FICTION. Historical fictions always allows for artistic licence and NO ONE was EVER THERE TO PAINSTAKINGLY record every word, mood, though and swish of a dress. This book is meant to show you Elizabeth as a person, known and widely accepted facts about her but with Author Leah Toole's beautiful storytelling, transporting you back to Elizabethan England.
I strongly recommend the series, understand the children of Old Henry the 8th and immerse yourself in Elizabeth's life and mind.
I know I did...and loved every moment of it.
5/5 story (not saying anything about spice) and a MUST READ.

Heartless Monster Rachel Leigh
If you are looking for high drama, twists, delicious spicy and unexpected enemies to lovers, this is PERFECT for your craving.
This book starts out with Rome rescuing Elodie , then a year later, twisted and morphs as new step-siblings and Rome as he takes revenge for the fallout that ruined his life at 18...on Elodie.
I loved how Elodie came alive by the conclusion, the plot and spice were fantastic. I love the banter (angry and not)between them, the family and friends are something interesting.
I'd 3.5 spice, 4.5/5 story (there were issues with the legal side I couldn't come complete with.)
This is a full recommend for a bully, possessive mmc and dynamic situation

Adriana Locke- This Much Is True
Adriana Locke created a beautiful and lively story about the girl in hiding and the guy who sees the real her.
Liana Kelley fled her own wedding in a voluminous dress way from a man that she couldn't picture herself married to and the family that see her as a paycheck.
She ran to the one place no one will look for the pop celebrity, her ex boyfriend's secluded ranch.
Luke Marshall town farrier and the EX she left behind finds her sitting, still gowned, on his couch.
I loved this book, read it in one delicious sitting. While one of the old friends help hide her, Liana and Luke have that dynamic bicker, and they know and have to learn to admit the feelings they still hold for each other.
This isn't all sweetness and light, there's some action, hot spice and a bodyguard quietly lurking around. Psst- Luke is a dirty talking boy.
Grab and read This Much Is True- 5 stars 4 spice and completely worth it

Until We Surrender- the UNTIL Series book 2- Lilly Henderson
Excellent!
The Sophomore release for the Until series is even better than the first book. This time, we follow Lauren, a coworker with a train wreck past of badly chosen and ended relationships. The scars from these relationships have left her wary of of moving forward with anything new. Her extrovert nature tends to disguise this problem.
Henry, the son of the CEO falls fast and hard for Lauren, against his father's wishes, (I felt he was also a bit of a as...jerk) Henry has a charm to him, brilliant book boyfriend material.
This book marries angst, spice, fantastic writing and brilliant characters to take you on a delightful ride that I'm being see to as Lilly Henderson's fantastic style.
Erin Nicholle Reluctantly Royal
I *LOVE* this dynamic and *delightfully different* take on a Cinderella story. Connecting a playboy prince and a green booted scientist more interested in her muddy work tan his offer of marriage. With her level of social anxiety, it sounds like pure torture to do all the princessy things.
She believes she can achieve something his people need, he falls hard and fast.
I loved how charming, witty and sexy this was, with the changes and growth the characters both experienced. It's a slow build spice, but I was far too busy enjoying the banter between the Torin and Abagail.
I loved this fantastic book, enjoyed every moment of. Pick it up...it should be your next read!
Congratulations on a fantastic book, Author Erin Nicolle.

King Of Nothing Book 1 Kingmaker Trilogy Paula Dombrowiak
I've been waiting to talk about this amazing book for so long! @pauladombrowiak is one of my one click authors, she builds these amazing worlds, characters and situations that are simply irresistible!
Darren Walker is the disreputable son of a senator, partying in Vegas when he finds out that his father has died. At the same time he is informed of the death, he is cut off from his funds and told that he has to marry or turn 30.
He had met Evangeline Bowen (breaking the rules of her employer) they spent the night before together, a elite escort for some of Washington's most powerful. In an attempt to acquire his inheritance, he marries Evangeline in Vegas. She has her own very important reasons to decline his offer to become his wife for $5million.
Things take a interesting turn between them until a startling cliffhanger threatens to destroy the relationship they began to build.
Be ready for book 2, Queen of Nothing (06/11/2024) and what I am SURE will be a stunning conclusion in State of Union (09/10/2024).
Pick up this brilliant book asap!

Amanda Richardson Ward Willing
Oh, every time these Ravage brothers can not drive me more insane, Amanda Richardson spins another Ravage brother the most amazing story, the next brother just seems to up the score with a more amazing and dynamic chapter.
This time, the eldest of the Ravage brothers, Liam, has been the guardian to his best friend’s daughter Zoe since a tragic accident took both of her parents.
Zoe, with Liam as her guardian finds that she continues to set her sights on being the level of lawyers her parents were…until she starts to get closer to graduation. She’s had a thing for Liam since she noticed he was more than Uncle Liam.
With Liam known as the great protector of the family, Zoe decides that it’s time to see if he shake up his stoic nature…and get what she wants.
***
I LOVED this installment. The wit and spark between Liam and Zoe was pure genius. They had things to resolve, explosive heat and fantastic appearances by the growing Ravage clan.
*swoon*
Oh yeah, check your triggers

Double Pucked -Lauren Blakley read 11-13 July 2023
this hysterical book, that starts out with a clever version of revenge is a dish served on cold ICE, the heroine gets a bit more than she bargained for. Actually, twice of what a gal could dream of.
This MFM romance is funny and I loved the dynamic between the guys and then Trina. There was an interesting way that they moved from being ONS to more, then navigating everything that came after.
I'm looking forward to the next book, this was so fantastic!

Screaming for my Rockstars from The Mic Drop Anthology
I read the novella, Screaming for the Rockstars by Audrey Bell
*Five Stars, Five Chilis*
This is a quick rockstar romance, heavy on delicious smut with a bit of semi resolved angst tossed in. As I don't do spoilers, you'll have to read it yourself, but I will say that rockstars knew the one, while she saw them as "her rockstars" (think meeting your favorite band as opposed to the love of your life), until they proved to her that she was more than a fan. (trust me, you still need to read it yourself.)
As with all novella romances, (and most longer books) I found a few questions, but they were the "shut it brain and enjoy the story."
The smut is fantastic, and was presented in a imaginative way at the first encounter.
Author Audrey Bell will tell you in most of her descriptions that these are short books, designed to be allowed to let you escape for a bit. "Screaming for My Rockstars" allows that.
I really enjoyed the book, and will be reading more of her library, (she seems to have something for everyone) and was honored by the chance to read this ARC.

Wrong Bride Penelope Wylde
(I don’t spoil the book, go and read it. Check for any trigger warnings)
Juniper and Marshal are so different, but would balance each other out if they would be together. I adored the flow and idea of the book, Marshal’s sister Stella was hysterical and deserves her own story.
Ugh, this ended on such a *clever* cliffhanger! I can’t wait for book 2, the Right Groom.
Lilian Harris book Messina crime family
Amazing
Lillian Harris wrote an amazing book, but the narration by Jason Clarke and Ramona Master is the proverbial cherry on the sundae. The voices are what I heard when I read the book. This is beyond a do not miss any format

Lasairiona E. McMaster- Lighting the Lamp
Lasairiona McMaster created both a hysterical, witty and fun hockey book...however, this book moved me, shook me up and left me both delighted with a beautiful HEA and thoughts of the amazing road Tori and Raffi took to get there.
After a meet cute (I think they even joke about that), they have the most amazing day and night together. with schedules, he stops and tattoos and firecracker and date on his arm, she's left with a little gift. That day, as Tori (not a hockey fan) is unaware that Raffi took a severe hit to the head, causing memory loss with a space both before and after the concussion. He sadly forgets Tori and the meaning of his tattoo, Tori is left with a little wonder boy she names Wyatt.
Two years pass, Tori continues college as a single parent, dealing with POCS and raising a delightful little Wyatt. Raffi continues to skate. He sees Tori and Wyatt out and realizes the little boy must be his somehow, still having no memory of his night with Tori.
The characters have amazing chemistry, it was witty and funny, the spice was amazing! I loved the fact that with the issues that both Raffi and Tori just are not easily solved and sometimes people facing issues can try to hide the extent of the situation to protect themselves or others. The issues faced are not always defeated by love or a lucky set of circumstances. This touched me on a personal level.
When you read this, it will make sense.
This book is an amazing journey of a one soulmate pair and the bizarre journey they took to get to the HEA.
This book is a MUST READ, 5 STORY AND 5 s8ICe.

The Girls Who Break- Christine Winston
The book traces a set of podcasters and Law Enforcement folks who are all trying to solve some very nasty, serial killer shite.
I don’t do spoilers, but this comes from MULTIPLE perspectives, and very well done!
I can see sometimes when things are about to “hit” for the story line, but, Ms Winston didn’t give me that level of bored at all.
Suspense with romance may have a new convert!
think Phantom of the Opera her) BRAVA, CHRISTINE!

Marek Bella Jewel
Ellie Mae and Marek have a dynamic story in this novella, it wraps some intense circumstances around shifting and emotional chacarcters.
It is a interesting story with an unexpected path to a resolution that is all their own.
This story is notfor everyone, over 18 and check your trigger warnings.

Never Mine To Hold Jennifer Sucevic
I really enjoyed this!
The story has fantastic characters. I loved how they and the relationship evolved between them. The angst, love and guilt has been there since a tragic accident, killing the FMC's Fallyn's brother. MMC, Wolf, was also her brother's bff.
Years pass after Fallyn has isolated and allowed her emotions to fester against Wolf...and then she is at college with the now hockey goalie phenom.
Some interpersonal relationship and financial hijinks ensue and the story takes off into full motion. There were unexpected surprises and interesting twists! This can be a complete standalone although it is part of the larger Western Wildcats Hockey series book 3)
I did have a few ponderences but that's me and would be too revealing for the review.
Congratulations, Author Jennifer Suevic !

Jami Davenport Shutout
Author Jami Davenport has taken what can be a tricky trope to write and done it *marvelously*.
I LOVED the world, backstory and the characters in this fantastic hockey romance. Life wasn’t written as a total train wreck nor was it perfect.
The slow burn was great, the spice was not the specifically painted, but, well placed
I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series and poking around the rest of her extensive library!
Brava!

This is an adorably sweet book, a strong representation of ADHD, and coach/boss daughter and best friend baby sister. I really enjoyed it as a break between my arc books

Hitting the Goal Line -Jocelyn Soto
I loved the fascinating story, seriously, read the previous books to understand this Chicago Dark Knights serious end. I loved the story of Sophia and Blake, from the adorable five year old meet cute to the adulthood lifelong indecision of changing a bestie relationship to the confession of love...that could tank the friendship. The slow burn (?) but awesome spice was explosive.
They had fantastic interaction, the characters were wonderful, and the story was fantastically written. However, there is a strong domestic violence run in the last third that had serious questions for me. It could be I could have preconceptions influencing that too, however, it just seemed to have plopped compared to how big it was. (ALSO, IN STORY TRIGGER)
My copy also had a lot of errors, I hope that can get or is already resolved. It kept pulling me out of the story.
The book is a fantastic way to see the older book characters and see the story of Sophia and Blake.
5 spice 4 story
