Adriana Locke created a beautiful and lively story about the girl in hiding and the guy who sees the real her. Liana Kelley fled her own wedding in a voluminous dress way from a man that she couldn't picture herself married to and the family that see her as a paycheck. She ran to the one place no one will look for the pop celebrity, her ex boyfriend's secluded ranch. Luke Marshall town farrier and the EX she left behind finds her sitting, still gowned, on his couch. I loved this book, read it in one delicious sitting. While one of the old friends help hide her, Liana and Luke have that dynamic bicker, and they know and have to learn to admit the feelings they still hold for each other. This isn't all sweetness and light, there's some action, hot spice and a bodyguard quietly lurking around. Psst- Luke is a dirty talking boy.
