I really enjoyed this! The story has fantastic characters. I loved how they and the relationship evolved between them. The angst, love and guilt has been there since a tragic accident, killing the FMC's Fallyn's brother. MMC, Wolf, was also her brother's bff. Years pass after Fallyn has isolated and allowed her emotions to fester against Wolf...and then she is at college with the now hockey goalie phenom. Some interpersonal relationship and financial hijinks ensue and the story takes off into full motion. There were unexpected surprises and interesting twists! This can be a complete standalone although it is part of the larger Western Wildcats Hockey series book 3) I did have a few ponderences but that's me and would be too revealing for the review.
